Afsaan Sharif is a specialist immigration solicitor who previously held a partner position at a Birmingham law firm, where she took the initiative to establish the legal department. Her immigration experience dates back to 2002, when she began her career as an immigration caseworker, going on to qualify as a solicitor in 2007.nnAfsaan works with Wright Justice Solicitors as a specialist immigration solicitor within the firm’s Leicester branch, equipped to deal with complex cases from application stage through to the Upper Tribunal and High Court/Judicial Review. She is also trained to ensure clients’ wishes are accurately transcribed into a will, including Islamic Shari’ah-compliant Wills.

Mr Akhtar heads our specialist Nottingham Immigration team and is highly regarded as a dedicated lawyer who cares for his clients and gets results. He has extensive experience of Human Rights issues and EEA applications, as well as all levels of appeals and Judicial Reviews.nnHe is regularly instructed on Spouse Visas, Visitor Visas, FLR (M), FLR (FP), Settlement, Nationality and EEA family member applications, and is known for a strong client care mentality.

Mr Khan is an Immigration Law specialist with extensive experience dealing with a wide variety of human rights issues, including asylum, family and private life cases, compassionate and compelling circumstances outside the immigration rules, points-based cases, EEA applications, and all levels of appeals.nnHis day-to-day work includes EEA applications, Settled and Pre-Settled status, Spouse and Visitor Visas, FLR (M/FP/HR/IR), the Private Life routes, and Stateless, Asylum, Settlement and Nationality applications, built on more than 15 years in the field.

Serpil has broad knowledge and experience in family law and advises on all aspects of it, including separation and divorce, financial matters following a separation, contact applications and child arrangements, and non-molestation orders. She takes a non-confrontational, conciliatory and sensitive approach to achieve the best outcome for her clients.

Mr Asim is a Points-Based System specialist with expertise across Tier 1, Investor/Entrepreneur, Tier 2 (Work Permit), Tier 4 (General), Student Visas, Tier 5 and Sponsorship Licence applications, as well as Innovator, Start-up and Global Talent routes. He also handles EEA family permits, Spouse Visas, and Settlement and Nationality applications.

Zain recently graduated from the University of Derby and is completing his LPC at the same university. During his LLB, he volunteered as a Legal Advisor at the University’s Pro Bono Clinic, giving free advice in family, immigration and commercial law. He now supports senior solicitors, prepares hearing bundles and gives preliminary advice to clients.
